Founder, CEO, Chief Strategist
Doug is the founder and CEO of Cult Marketing, his second entrepreneurial venture. Cult was started to provide an alternative to the traditional advertising agency model that has been prevalent since the 1950’s. Doug’s specialty is combining innovative research with creative ideas that impact the marketplace. Doug has extensive experience in a variety of industries, and has worked on other brands including Nokia, 3M, American Standard, Time Warner, UPS, Ross Products, Huntington Banks, Bite Golf, Hoover, Tween Brands and many others. In addition, he was founder of Mars Communication/Zero Base Advertising in 1990, and sold that firm in 2003. He has two degrees from the University of Texas at Austin, an MBA from The Ohio State University, and has taught marketing at the graduate level at The Ohio State’s Fisher College and Franklin University.
